Landslide at the entrance to the Skërfica tunnel, temporarily blocking traffic

There was a landslide this afternoon near the Skërfica tunnel, on the Delvinë-Kardhiq road axis.

According to official information, Saranda police services immediately arrived at the scene to monitor the situation and ensure road safety.

There was no traffic at the time of the landslide, which avoided any potential risk of accidents.

Immediately after assessing the situation, the company responsible for cleaning the road arrived at the scene, which carried out the complete removal and cleaning of the affected segment.

We recall that today a massive landslide of soil and rocks completely blocked the Qukës-Qafë Plloçë road axis, two months after its inauguration.

The collapse occurred near the tunnels, making this road impassable for vehicles.
