The SafeJournalists Network Albania has expressed deep concern regarding the repression by the State Police on the premises of News24.
In a statement, the organization expressed alarm over the blocking of access to the editorial offices of News24, BalkanWeb, Panorama and Gazeta Shqiptare in Tirana.
According to the announcement, this action limits journalists' access to the workplace and hinders the exercise of their professional duties.
The organization warns that such actions pose a threat to the freedom and independence of the media in the country.
SafeJournalists announces that it is closely following the situation and will continue to monitor developments in the coming days.
