The focus of the meeting was to deepen cooperation between the Network and the Embassy, as a bridge between Albanian state institutions and the Albanian entrepreneurial community in Austria and beyond.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Austria, Mr. Fate Velaj, received representatives of the Albanian Business Network in Austria.

In his speech, Mr. Yll Blakaj emphasized:
“The network aims to be as close as possible to Albanian businesses and to offer concrete cooperation platforms. The 4th Diaspora Summit, to be held on November 26–27 in Tirana, will be an excellent opportunity to present our initiatives and for networking and sharing experiences.”
He added:
"At the Albanian Business Fair in Vienna, we will also invite businesses from Albania. And there we will need the help of the embassy. Also, to bring Albanian investors from the diaspora closer to Albania, concrete bridges of cooperation and investment must be created, for this the participation of high political and institutional representatives from Albania is very important"
For his part, Ambassador Fate Velaj said:
“The Global Albanian Business Network has done an excellent job in empowering Albanian entrepreneurs around the world. The Embassy in Vienna will always be an open partner and ready to support any initiative that strengthens ties between the diaspora and the motherland.”
The meeting ended with the parties' willingness to continue cooperation, turning this dialogue into a sustainable and long-term process, in service of the common interests of the diaspora and Albania.
