"Everyone has their own ideas", Sejamini: We are not in communism
Journalist Neritan Sejamini

Journalist Neritan Sejamini stated that the idea that the opposition should be united in a single force is a concept inherited from communism and contradicts the principles of pluralism. He emphasized that in a democracy, there can be many opposition parties, each with its own ideas, strategies, and political path.

" We are used to a communist concept that the opposition is one. Pluralism means that there can be 1000 parties. There may be places where you have parties that don't get more than 10% and they are probably democratic places. This concept that the opposition will come together is a communist concept and a pluralist concept. Everyone has their own idea. Everyone has their own alternative and everyone tries to find their own people. So even this thing that the opposition is divided is not divided. The Democratic Party has its own path. Agron Shehaj has its own path. Adriatik Llapaj has its own path. Everyone plays for votes. The main problem we have with the concept of the opposition is that we think that the opposition is only the Democratic Party ", said Sejamini on 'Off the Record', on A2 CNN.

Regarding recent cases of government corruption, Sejamini emphasized that these are not opposition issues, but moral, ethical and professional standards that should apply to every democratic society.

"Today you have a director of the information society agency who is incriminated, she went to the office of a person who is accused of being an exponent of crime, bargained with him, told him, I have also fired people from their jobs to protect your honor and today she is still the director of the agency. She has not been suspended, she has not been dismissed. What does the Democratic Party and the protest need for us all to say, this woman should resign so that tomorrow we can tell the prime minister how you can keep a criminal at the head of this agency. We have a deputy prime minister and minister who is trying to use immunity to avoid being investigated. If she is innocent, there is no problem with her being investigated. What does this have to do with the Democratic Party, with Mr. Lapaj and others that we as a society say this cannot be tolerated. Democracy is a duty for every person ," he said.
