The Chairperson of the Health Commission, Zheni Gjergji, has reacted to the dismissal of Albana Fico. Gjergji says that the emergency scandal is not covered with half measures.
" The scandal of the Emergency is not covered with half measures. From the first day when the Emergency of QSUT was engulfed in flames where an investment of 17 million euros of Albanian taxpayers was destroyed, we raised our voice and demanded an investigation, transparency and responsibility before the law.
After several weeks of silence and darkness, the government decided to remove the head of the QSUT.
These are half measures for the show. The government should show what happened, why it happened, how that situation was not properly managed?
The government is responsible for the money wasted, and especially for the cost that this has brought to the health of the citizens, since the Emergency has not been working for months now.
This flagrant case of irresponsibility shows the real relationship that the renaissance has with health, where affairs and scandals aim to fade with show and propaganda.
The opposition will seek to the end the truth about the urgency of any abuse that has been done in this vital sector ," Gjergji writes.
