Lawyer Arben Llangozi has commented on the arrest of Jorgo Goro, saying that the acting mayor of Himara should be accused of theft of public land, and not just falsification of documents and abuse of office. Llangozi also emphasizes that SPAK is favoring Artan Gaçi, the husband of Olta Xhaçka, who is not yet under investigation.

There is a shadow of doubt, because it is a favor that SPAK is doing to the husband of Mrs. Xhaçka and the mayor, because he should be accused of theft of public land in collaboration. If Xhaçka and her husband are not investigated, we are dealing with the failure of this case," he told MCN.
By order of SPAK, on March 23, the acting mayor of the municipality of Himara, Jorgo Goro, was arrested after being accused by the Special Prosecutor's Office of abusing his office by alienating two properties in Dhërmi, in two episodes, where the ultimate beneficiary of the land, with a total area of 10592 m2, was the businessman Artan Gaçi, former deputy of the SP. After acquiring the land, it was granted a permit for the construction of a tourist complex. Sources for Report TV learned that Jorgo Goro was arrested in Dhërmi, by SPAK agents, as soon as he got up from the cafe around 4:45 p.m., where he was staying with some of his friends. The same sources say agents were keeping him under surveillance.
