The explosion in Lushnje damaged businesses, the resident: We expect the Municipality to compensate us

Residents of the area have spoken about the powerful explosion in Lushnja where 2 people lost their lives and 7 others were injured.

One of the residents, who has his business near the silo, stated that at first they thought it was a gas cylinder in the apartment.

He says that they have not yet been contacted by the municipality regarding the compensation for the damages caused by the explosion.

"We thought there was no gas canister in the house. It was a very powerful explosion, we didn't understand what was happening. We only heard noise and glass falling everywhere. I feel sorry for those who lost their lives. Regarding the damages then... We have not had contact from the municipality, we are waiting for them to come, but we do not know if a working group has been set up",  the resident told "News 24".
