Fires are extinguished in Vlora, problems with electricity in some areas

The fire situation in Vlora has been brought under control. In some areas of the city, in Kavalona in Pyllin e Soda, in Orikum in Peškorja, it became possible to extinguish them after the intervention of firefighters.

Also, the fire in the waste field was contained in the early hours of the morning. During the morning, work was done again with insulation of the reactivated hearths. Currently, the situation appears calm.

The local authorities announce that some trees have been damaged due to the wind and with the intervention of the Ministry of Education, there are no roads blocked. Regarding the supply of drinking water, the situation appears normal.

Drinking water and wastewater stations are operational while generators are on standby. The sewage plant continues to work normally.

Electricity supply is not a problem in the city. The areas of Tragjas and Dukat remain problematic, where due to the strong wind, several defects have been identified. Working groups are working to stabilize the situation.
