Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu suggested declaring a state of emergency and involving all institutions in the operation to prevent and extinguish fires. He considered it necessary, given the scale and number of fires.
"It would be appropriate for the Government to declare a state of civil emergency and a state of emergency throughout the country, given the situation we are in. There are three levels of this emergency level and since there are outbreaks throughout the country, the situation can escalate. The Government should precede them with measures and infrastructure, there is nothing wrong with declaring it," he said in an interview with Report TV.
He further explained how the mechanism of this situation worked, with the involvement of all institutions to prevent and extinguish the flames, which would greatly help alleviate the situation and avoid not only any tragedy, but also damage.
"If a state of emergency is declared, all institutions, the army, the police and the local administration are involved in action to prevent the situation from spreading," he added.
