Neritan Sejamini has spoken about the dramatic developments in Kosovo, where the current situation on the ground seems quite tense.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Sejamini said that Albania should unconditionally support Kosovo in these moments and not maintain a neutral position, as Prime Minister Rama has shown during these days.
Sejamini said that Albania should help Kosovo, for its economic development, undoing its dependence and isolation from Serbia.
" Serbia or Vucic, by keeping this dialogue delayed, has kept Kosovo in abeyance. We have Serbia that is economically empowered, increases connections and integrates into the European economy. Meanwhile, we have Kosovo, where no investment is made, it wastes energy on a dialogue that does not lead anywhere.
Recent events should serve us to understand that as long as Vucic is there, there will be neither recognition of Kosovo nor progress in dialogue. His strategy is the strategy of holding back and procrastination. Albanians must understand that it is time to make a nationwide pact with Kosovo. They must be in peace, so as not to lead to a situation where we have to go to war together. Albania can help Kosovo get out of this isolation, start a program of total integration between Albania and Kosovo. This is how we help Kosovo economically and overcome this isolation that Serbia has in place.
In this way, we will help Kosovo more than in any other way. Whatever calls the Prime Minister of Albania makes, the calls that Mr. Rama can make do not change anything in Vucic's strategy. We need a new strategy so that the Albanians integrate, Kosovo is economically empowered. Then the weight of the Albanians will be much greater. Albania must break away from taking neutral positions. Kosovo is doing the right thing, the only thing Albania can do is support Kosovo unconditionally !", said Sejamini, among other things.
