The reasons for the mass raid are related to a series of army tenders, where rampant corruption is suspected, but also to the massacre of the alienation of its properties, mainly during the time when the Ministry of Defense was headed by Olta Xhaçka.
Secret tenders worth tens of millions of euros for the purchase of weapons and ammunition, all completed in a handful of companies.
