Analysts Preç Zogaj and Andi Bushati have debated the impact that SPAK's accusation against Veliaj may have on the outcome of the May 11, 2025 parliamentary elections.
While Zogaj said that every blow received by the party in power today and until the election is against it in terms of the electoral result, Bushati in the show "Te Paespozuarit", brought up the previous cases with Saimir Tahir, Bllak, or Ahmetaj, when Rama has only strengthened and won the elections.
Excerpts from the debate:
Zogaj : The coming to light of new facts and the confrontation of Veliaj with the accusations for the period remaining until the election, is against the SP and Edi Rama. His case cannot be considered in a different context, as if the elections have ended, cannot be judged in the context of rivalries in the SP or the relationship between Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj. This is where the alum is separated from the sugar, Albania will go to the polls. Bushati : Here I do not agree with Preci.
Rakipi : I also do not agree, I have this theory of Bushati.

Zogaj : You must consider the effect these events have on the electorate, on the elections.

Zogaj : You must also prove the theorem that Rama controls SPAK.
Bushati : No, no, I'm talking about the elections, not the SPAK control. My interlocutors, that's what I thought then, "once Saimir Tahiri, Rama's number 2 man, comes out, he is implicated in the cannabisization of Albania, Rama runs away in a cart. Rama with Saimir Tahirin added the votes, with Alqi Bllakon, Lefter Kokë, with Arben Ahmetaj, added the votes. Why does it seem anomalous, as you say, that when all the soldiers have fallen, you must also lose the votes, but this happens in the places where voting takes place, Preč. The problem I have with SPAK is this. SPAK eats the soldiers and paradoxically Rama gets stronger. Why? That SPAK is castrated in the face of electoral crime, to the towers that are financed.
Zogaj : If SPAK eats the soldiers as you say and Rama gets stronger, this is no longer an issue of SPAK, you have to go deeper, don't make a short circuit.
Bushati : It is a matter for the whole society, televisions, opposition.
Zogaj : Saimir Tahiri is another story. When the opposition does not participate in the elections, what do you expect Rama to do badly?
Bushati : If we talk about an independent justice, it should not focus on the punishment of pickpockets, be it Ilir Meta, or pickpocket Erion Veliaj. Albanian society has a problem; the financing of this narco-power with drug money, which is symbolized in the towers of Tirana.
Zogaj : It will be the next, biggest step of SPAK.
Bushati : How this money buys the vote. Until our independent justice does not enter here, but catches the next pickpocket, who provided not 10 but 100 pairs of thongs to Ajola, we are here in a farce.
