An amount of 708,000 euros has been decided to be spent by SPAK, in order to purchase an advanced system for scanning the tools that enter the court of the special prosecution, this system that serves as an anti-terrorism protection in many security institutions.
We remind you that the opening of this tender comes at a time when SPAK has just closed the mega tender procedure of 4 billion ALL, which will go to the furnishing of the new SPAK building, the construction of an air tunnel and the construction of some internal stairs inside the existing facility donated by the Municipality of Tirana.

Meanwhile, the journalist of "Ora News" Elton Qyno has learned that the reason for the purchase of this defense system, which aims to shield from the outside and inside the entrances and exits of SPAK, was information received by the State Police, about a possible scenario of attack the building with drones or cars filled with tritol.
Therefore, evaluating this police information but also seeing the trend of some organized crime individuals intercepted by SPAK itself, the head of this institution, Altin Dumani, has decided to solve the financial bag, spending a full 708 thousand euros, where the goal is armor of the entrances and exits of this institution.
According to the documents, the tender is divided into two special lots, where the First Lot through a financial amount of 218 thousand euros aims to buy a baggage scanning device, a mail envelope scanner device and 1 control bridge.
Meanwhile, the Second Lot of this tender aims to purchase, through the financial sum of 489 thousand euros, a scanner device for the bottom scanning of vehicles that enter and park in SPAK's internal premises, as well as an automatic device called "Bollard".
The scanning unit must be designed to give maximum results in the following scanning of vehicles.
According to SPAK's own documents, the purpose of purchasing the automatic system with high security "Bollard" is to stop vehicles from unauthorized entry into security areas and maintain the highest level of protection against anti-terrorism.
SPAK intends to buy two such systems with three steel pistons, which will be placed at the entrance and exit of the tunnel of the SPAK building and the entrance and exit to the SPAK courtyard.
While two systems will be purchased for the bottom scanning of vehicles entering and leaving SPAK. It is expected that the two tenders will be closed on October 11 of this year, where the winner of this procedure will be announced a few days later./Time
