Prime Minister Edi Rama showed today that he has begun to fear SPAK. While the reactions to Veliaj were seen as political rhetoric, today there was a scandalous reaction on his part. SPAK carried out an action at the Agricultural University, placing 24 people under security for tender abuses.
The Prime Minister reacted urgently and even tomorrow the rector of UBT will appear before the SP group to provide clarifications, a scandal in itself.
" Tomorrow at 09.00 the Parliamentary Group of the governing majority will hear at his request, the Rector of the Agricultural University, Fatbardh Sallaku, regarding 24 security measures WITHOUT TRIAL for the staff and lecturers of the university for several procedures from several years ago in a total amount of less than 30 million lekë! The rector himself, who is not connected to this investigation, speaks of a very big misunderstanding and asks to be heard publicly, at a turning point in history for the Agricultural University that has entered the path of transformation with the aim of full recognition of diplomas with the BOKU University of Vienna in Albania 2030 ", writes Rama.
However, SPAK, in a public reaction today, in addition to declaring that they have evidence and facts, also sends a message to the Prime Minister. According to SPAK, the State Police has launched an investigation into this case.
" Investigations within the framework of this criminal proceeding continue for criminal facts and unlawful actions of other persons. We thank the General Directorate of the State Police for the preliminary investigations conducted and the execution of security measures ," SPAK concludes.
