Lawyer Spartak Ngjela said that the opposition has no new ideas as they still have Berisha as their president since 1992.
While commenting on the current situation in the opposition, Ngjela said that the majority's power is not at risk, as the opposition has no figures who can challenge it.
"I don't see any new ideas from the opposition, they still have the same leader from '92, this shows that the majority is not falling because the opposition has no figure, they still have the figure from 1992. Politics is not the desire of one or the other. You have seen in the West that you can lose elections 4 times and still be in the party. Whereas the majority was elected by the Albanian people," he said.
Ngjela also spoke about the protest held by the Democratic Party a few days ago in front of the Prime Minister's Office. He stated that the opposition protest has no influence on the government.
"The DP protested and then went home, there were about 3 thousand people there. Yes, any party can protest. The question is whether this influences creating a government crisis, then that is another thing. A government crisis comes with the number in Parliament, the SP has 83 ," the lawyer said.
Ngjela also commented on the role of SPAK in investigating corruption in Albania, emphasizing that major cases are in the hands of the Special Prosecution Office and not political parties.
"The SPAK has the affairs in hand, the parties do not. The parties can lie all day long. The parties do not have executive power. I cannot speak about crimes with Saliu's language, I know SPAK and that we lead it. We have hope in SPAK. The American president said it, SPAK is for the elimination of corruption in Albania, we have a deputy prime minister, former ministers under investigation. Has SPAK done little? All those under indictment are unlikely to escape. Let's see when the trials start. SPAK is not run by us, there are international experts there," he declared for "Report TV".
