The Council of Ministers has decided that Friday, December 26, will also be a holiday for the public administration. The decision comes in the context of the extension of the Christmas holiday.
The state administration will not work on Thursday, December 25, which is an official holiday. With this decision, employees of public institutions will benefit from two consecutive days off, without any other interruptions during the week.
According to the official announcement, public institutions will return to normal activity on Monday. The decision does not affect emergency services, which will continue to operate according to the usual regime.
