Suella Braverman does not "separate" from Albanians, pressure on

The Secretary of the Interior of Britain, Suella Braverman, does not seem to be angry with the Albanian immigrants in Britain as she has declared that the lawyers who help asylum seekers to cheat the British immigration system "should be jailed".

Speaking about the need for Britain to be seen as a "hostile environment" for asylum seekers, Braverman added that those who make false asylum and human rights claims on behalf of illegal immigrants should be jailed.

The Home Secretary also said such a stance would deter "criminals and fraudsters" trying to cheat the system. She further noted that existing legal legislation already allows for life sentences for those who illegally assist immigrants.

Under the Immigration Act 1971, it is a criminal offense to knowingly assist asylum seekers to break immigration laws.

"These so-called immigration lawyers, who have been strongly exposed as criminals and frauds, training migrants how to lie to get through our system, how to game our system, how to game our rules, they are deceiving the British people.

I worked as a lawyer myself before I was an MP, defending the Home Office in immigration cases and I know what we are dealing with here in terms of the problem. We have an industry of people who pretend to be professionals, who pretend to be legitimate, but actually under the surface are lying or cheating and breaking the law, and we need to crack down on them," Braverman said .

Announcing the measures ahead of the government's Stop the Boats week, Secretary Braverman said those referring to lawyers should indeed be jailed.

"We already have laws in place where if you're helping an illegal migrant, you can be jailed for life.

And if the offense is justified, then these people should be jailed for as long as possible. They need to know they can't get away with it. They should know that this is completely unacceptable," she declared.

The Home Secretary added that Britain must ensure that this kind of behavior is not turned a blind eye but, in fact, creates a hostile environment for those who seek to undermine and break the rules.

Braverman's statements came after news that Albanian people-trafficking gangs are offering criminals the chance to flee Britain across the Channel for a price of £2,500.

The gangs, which are best known for taking people over the sea in small boats illegally, are even helping the killers escape the UK. TikTok has been used to offer people the chance to cross the Channel, but now smugglers are using their expertise to do the opposite./Taken from LBCnews
