The reason for the visit of the 2 AKU leaders to the Chinese embassy is still unknown.
The AKU has been shaken to its foundations after the departure of its two most important leaders, with other dismissals expected in the coming days.
It is announced that Director of Risk Management Martin Jorgaqi and Director of Risk Communication and Monitoring Leonard Muskaj have resigned.
Their resignation came after, in violation of official protocol, they held a meeting at the Chinese embassy without informing Minister Anila Denaj and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The reason for the visit of the two AKU leaders to the Chinese embassy is still unknown, but after receiving this information, the AKU Disciplinary Committee was immediately convened.
After the closed-door meeting, Martin Jorgaqi and Leonard Muskaj resigned. The situation is further aggravated by the fact that the Commanding Director of the AKU, Manush Kullolli, was also aware of this meeting, but did not inform his superiors.
There have been clashes before between Minister Denaj and AKU Director Manush Kullolli, after the Ministry did not approve the list of 60 people that Kullolli made available for the creation of the Task Force at AKU.
