"SPAK data is being sold and read in the media", Kreshnik Spahiu: Two

The SPAK scandal has stirred up not only politics, justice, but also public opinion.

For lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu, there may be two clues and motives for this serious event, while he also states that there is nothing to criticize SPAK for, as its data has long been published and read in the media, including by politicians.

"It is still too early to prejudge the case. What needs to be assessed is the discovery of the case and the arrest within 24 hours of the persons. The manner and how they were arrested, the rapid reaction regarding the incident. But there are some details in the case. The first target, so it is not one person or one prosecutor. The persons have attempted all the prosecutors' emails, but only 3 have broken them, so they have attempted all the computers. The system has not been broken from the inside, but from the outside. Third, we are in a campaign period and the possibility that political interests are the main motive for the reason for the closure of SPAK cannot be ruled out. What we expected more from SPAK is that unlike other press releases, it was made today for arrests that were made two weeks ago. Where in other cases they are also given with details. So the reaction was made two weeks late", the lawyer said to Report TV.

He further emphasized that what is important at this moment is the motive, rather than the people arrested so far. Of interest, according to him, are the people behind the attack and its motive.

"Citizens are more interested in the motive than the subjects who may be anonymous. They cannot get the answer from us because we would be committing conspiracy and abuse of information. Who is hiding behind them and what is the motive? I find it hard to believe that two ordinary people went in to break the prosecutors' codes to get information, that they would dare or be crazy, to gamble with their lives for 1, 2 or 10 thousand euros to sell to others. I focus on what we are dealing with people who want to provide information about other people who are under investigation, or are people who are themselves under investigation and want to reveal evidence and witnesses. Or to get information and blackmail the people or prosecutors who are investigating them. These are the two tracks that I think of", said Spahiu.

And finally, the lawyer emphasized that there are no secrets in Albania, as they are directly released to the public or the media.

"There are no secrets in Albania. I am surprised at what you can hack into SPAK, where the Prosecutor's Office files are published in the media, testimonies, evidence, etc. are on the market. In any other country it would be considered a crime, there would be measures, because the lives of other people are being violated," he said.
