Former president Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi will appear tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. before the Special Anticorruption Court.
Meta was arrested yesterday by BKH agents while he was driving in the vicinity of "Casa Italai".
The former president is charged with three charges, corruption, laundering of products and non-declaration of assets.
He is being held in the security block at "Mine Peza", as the security measure "arrest with prison" is expected to be confirmed tomorrow. While Monika Kryemadhi was left with an "obligation to appear".
If until the end, these accusations are confirmed by the court, Meta risks being locked up in a cell for a long time.
Money laundering is punishable by five to ten years in prison. Corruption 4 to 12 years in prison and concealment of wealth is punishable by a fine or imprisonment of up to three years.
