The appeal of GJKKO left Behar Bajri in prison, who was extradited from France in November.
Investigations against Bajri and 14 others implicated in the "Metamorfoza" file started in 2019, after the dismantling of the secret applications "Sky" and "EnkroChat" from France and Belgium, which brought the data to Albania.
In these communications, it appeared that the businessman Pëllumb Gjoka, after he was released from prison through the bribe he gave to the prosecutor Xhevahir Lita, asked Behar Bajri to kill Keanth Musabelliu. Then Bajri exchanged targets with Ervis Martinaj and killed Gjon Boriči on his account. His name also appears as the orderer of the murder of Ibrahim Lici, Dorian Duli and Genc Tafili, crimes which did not happen.
The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a monocratic panel composed of judge Saida Dollani, today 04.01.2024, at 10:00, announced the decision on criminal case no. 60 act, date 26.12.2023 registration, registered on the appeal of persons under investigation BB, with object: "Appeal against decision no. 94, dated 23.07.2023 and decision no. 126, dated 17.11.2023 of the Special Court of the First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime" which has disposed of cases of personal security measures, and decided:
-Approval of decision no. 94, dated 23.07.2023 and decision no. 126, dated 17.11.2023 of the Special Court of the First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, regarding the suspect BB
