He jumped into the river to save his two children, Greece decides to grant

Greece has decided to grant honorary Greek citizenship to Albanian immigrant Levian Goga, who jumped into a river to save two minor children. The news was confirmed by Greek authorities, who called his action a pure act of bravery and humanity.

The incident took place last week in the Arakhtos River, where Goga, without hesitation, dropped everything and jumped into the water to save two drowning children. Unfortunately, despite his efforts, the children later died in hospital. Following the incident, Goga was hospitalized due to breathing problems and a strong cough, but his health condition is reported to be stable.

The Greek Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, personally ordered Goga to be transported by ambulance to the hospital for further examinations. His action has received widespread attention in the Greek and Albanian media, highlighting not only the bravery but also the sacrifices that migrants make every day to build an honest life.

Levian Goga is originally from Berat and has been living in Greece for 24 years. He has settled in the city of Arta with his wife and two children, building a simple and honest life. His heroism is expected to be officially crowned with the granting of a Greek passport, as a recognition of his contribution and sacrifice for the lives of others.
