SPAK head Altin Dumani paid tribute to judge Astrit Kalaja, who was killed in the courtroom the day before. The judge was shot three times by Elvis Shkambi immediately after announcing the verdict in a property dispute.
Two other people were injured and are out of danger. The perpetrator, who was in court over a property issue, was arrested just moments after shooting the judge.
"I was fed up with the trials. I heard that he ruled in favor of the other party. I hadn't thought about killing him before, but then I got the idea to kill him when he ruled against us," he testified.
