"The Londoners return to Albania to plant cannabis", Artan Hoxha: Scary increase in drug cultivation in the country

Journalist Artan Hoxha has commented on a recent report by the Guardia di Finanza, according to which the area planted with cannabis in Albania has tripled.

He emphasized that the growth of cannabis cultivation has reached alarming levels, especially in the region of Shkodra. According to Hoxha, the quantities eliminated this year show a significant increase in the cultivation of cannabis in the country.

"Historically, in pre-election years, the amount of cannabis increases. But this year, planting has also increased due to the increase in price and the influx of tourists. The quantities eliminated this year show that there has been a significant increase in the cultivation of cannabis in Albania, especially in the district of Shkodra, to a frightening extent", said the journalist for "News 24".

Hoxha said that some young people, including those who came from England, have returned to Albania to cultivate cannabis.

"Don't expect them to cultivate tomatoes in the mountainous areas of Albania", said journalist Artan Hoxha.
