Messages for Shkëlzen Berisha and Bashkim Ulaj revealed
New details have been published from the SPAK file where the defendants are former President Ilir Meta and his ex-wife, Monika Kryemadhi, who is being tried at the GJKKO, while SPAK has filed a series of charges against two of the politicians who have faced public accusations for years, while for two years they have been under the in-depth investigation of SPAK.
The published documents document Monika Kryemadhi's luxury purchases in San Marino with credit cards linked to Albanian-American businessman Adrian Shatku, but not only that. They also mention the names of businessman Bashkim Ulaj and the son of former Prime Minister Berisha, Shkëlzen Berisha.
According to the investigative file, on September 24, 2014, Monika Kryemadhi wrote to Adrian Shatku on WhatsApp that she was in San Marino, while also telling him about family plans and trips to the luxury center “Lanserhof”. The next day, on September 25, 2014, SPAK says that Kryemadhi attempted to make luxury purchases at the boutiques “Ferreti Boutique” and “Maccapani”, but the “Black” card was not being accepted, which led to a series of direct communications with Adrian Shatku. While he was solving the problems with Monika’s credit card in San Marino, Adrian Shatku wrote to him in parallel about the permits he was waiting for from Minister Edmond Haxhinasto:
"The world must provide access such as the Union's ATU... it cannot continue this way... the market and public assets for the Union and Zeni have been paralyzed."
According to SPAK, "Bashkim" refers to businessman Bashkim Ulaj, while "Zeni" refers to Shkëlzen Berisha, the son of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

Ilir Beqaj comes out of the glass cage; requests the dismissal of the Sterilization case
Ilir Beqaj, the former Minister of Health, who is facing a trial at the GJKKO, following SPAK's accusations, will no longer be sitting in the glass cage in the courtroom. The GJKKO has accepted Beqaj's request to sit next to his lawyer, while the former minister is under the security measure of 'prison arrest' since July 4, 2024.
Getting out of the cage can also be called the first 'victory' that Beqaj has achieved since the moment he was arrested, while he has requested several times to change the security measure, but his requests have been rejected by the courts.

Ilir Beqaj akuzohet për pesë vepra penale , “korrupsion pasiv”, “shkelje e barazisë në tenderë”, “falsifikim dokumentash”, “mashtrim” në bashkëpunim dhe “mosdeklarim pasurie”.
Beqaj ishte ndër të parët zyrtarë të lartë që u përball me SPAK dhe më pas me arrestimin.

Babai i Ervis Martinajt paraqitet në GJKKO
Babai i Ervis Martinajt, i zhdukur që prej 8 gushtit 2022, është paraqitur paraditen e sotme në ambientet e Gjykatës së Posaçme Kundër Korrupsionit dhe Krimit të Organizuar.
Mustafa Martinaj është parë duke ecur me vështirësi, i mbështetur në një bastun, teksa hynte në ambientet e GJKKO-së.
Paraqitja e tij vjen vetëm pak ditë pasi ai bëri deklarata të forta publike lidhur me zhdukjen e djalit të tij. Më 12 maj, Mustafa Martinaj hodhi akuza edhe ndaj Policisë së Shtetit, duke pretenduar se drejtues dhe ish-drejtues të policisë janë të interesuar për moszbardhjen e ngjarjes.
Më herët, ai ka deklaruar publikisht se ka dorëzuar informacione dhe prova që sipas tij tregojnë vendndodhjen e mundshme të trupit të pajetë të Ervis Martinajt, duke këmbëngulur se i biri është vrarë.

Teksa Drejtoria e Burgjeve ka shtuar kontrollet për parandalimin e futjes së sendeve të paligjshme në institucionet e vuajtjes së dënimit, ish-drejtori i burgut të Peqinit, Faik Basha, ka treguar një rast të tentativës për futjen e telefonave celularë të fshehur brenda një pajisjeje “PlayStation”.
Basha deklaroi se informacioni kishte mbërritur paraprakisht dhe se pajisjet elektronike që futen në burg kontrollohen nga një ekip i posaçëm.
“Kam patur një rast ku më vjen një informacion që nëpërmjet pajisjeve elektronike janë futur telefona dhe do vijnë brenda me postë. Ka një ekip që kontrollon të gjitha pajisjet që futen brenda. Një herë në javë ditën e premte në orën 2:00 e kishim ne, mblidhet komisioni, ne kishim elektricist se duhet të kesh specialist IT, por që për aq sa duhet është Ok dhe shefat e shërbimit të jashtëm e të brendshëm që asistojmë”, tha Basha për "A2 CNN".
Sipas tij, gjatë kontrollit pajisja fillimisht rezultoi funksionale, por më pas nisi procesi i hapjes së saj.
"We checked the devices and left these devices for last and the device was found. It was an old Playstation model. It was plugged in, it worked and then the process of opening the inside would be done, it was a little difficult. When the device was opened, there were 4 phones inside, they had gone to an expert of these devices who had created space and opportunities to put it inside and make it functional," he emphasized.
Basha also added that equipment such as refrigerators and televisions are usually not opened for internal inspection, as they are purchased directly by the institution in large shopping centers.
