Residents of several villages in the Kolonja area protested today in Qafzez, near the Baba Selim bridge, which crosses the Osum River.
The reason for the protest is the isolation of over 10 villages, which have been suffering the consequences of torrential rains and floods for a week.
According to residents, the bridge connecting to the main road has been severely damaged, making the movement of vehicles and emergency vehicles impossible.
The situation is even more worrying, as in some of the remote villages there are sick people who cannot be transported to health centers.
Protesters are demanding urgent intervention from institutions, appealing not to be left in a situation where, according to them, they are "at the mercy of fate."
