Lawyer Romeo Kara commented on the trial that is being held against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, for which SPAK requests the security measure of 'house arrest' with a policeman at the door.
Invited to the "Tirana Live" studio, the lawyer said that if the former prime minister does not respect the measure of house arrest, he may face prison.
"The measure of arrest itself has several forms or ways of presentation. One of them is the one with prison. Not everyone can go there except family or a lawyer. We have people under arrest for crimes and unfortunately two of them were killed in Elbasan with the policeman at the door. It is a measure imposed by non-compliance with the previous measures, and the only way was for the court to either go bankrupt with the SPAK to continue implementing the Code of Criminal Procedure by making the measure tougher and taking this measure. Tomorrow we may also have the measure of imprisonment if Berisha does not respect the measure of arrest according to the decision that will be given by the court. Further, focusing on the decision of the Supreme Court on the seal of the DP, the lawyer emphasized that it is not a victory for Berisha.

It went to Appeal, just as we can have in criminal trials the interventions of the victims of the criminal offense.
