For the lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu, the non-announcement of early elections for the municipality of Himara is a scandal that violates the constitution.
Speaking about Fredi Beleri and the opposition on "Report TV", Spahiu says on the other hand that the PD protests are only to show who is the leader of the opposition and has nothing to do with the citizens' causes.
" I feel regret that Albania is not announcing early elections in Himara, a scandal that leaves the people of Himara without representatives. I appreciate that every party has the right to protest. PD has a successful tradition of protests, but it has been a champion in protests and a loser in elections. For 30 years in Albania, no government has fallen due to protests. Political protests have not led to early elections. They are only consumption of popular causes, to burn them.
