From April 5, 2024, three municipalities that are supplied with water by the Lezha Water Supply Company will have increased water supply prices for households.
A recent decision of the Water Regulatory Authority (ERRU), recently published in the Official Gazette, provides that the price of water for all units that are part of this enterprise will be revised and remain in force until the end of the year 2025.
Currently, the citizens of the Lezha unit pay today 58 ALL/m3 for water, while ERRU has decided that the new price will be 65 ALL/m3, i.e. almost 12% more.
The only category where the price has been revised upward is that of households, while for public institutions and businesses ERRU has left in force the existing tariffs of 135 ALL/m3 and 145 ALL/m3 even though the company requested a review in the price application of these prices.
The families of Kurbini will also pay more, since April 5, they will pay 45 lek for each m3 of water. The actual fee is actually 30 ALL/m3 for family members, which shows that the increase is almost 50 percent. For public customers, i.e. institutions and businesses, ERRU has left in force the current rates of 80 and 120 ALL/m3.
For Mirdita, which includes Rubiku and Rresheni, ERRU has decided that families pay a fee of 45 lek for each cubic meter of water, while the current fee is 30 lek, i.e. 50 percent more.

As for water supply, there is an increase only for households, ERRU's decision for the enterprise of Lezha brings an upward review for all three categories as far as the dirty water sewage service is concerned.
Specifically, for Lezha, the fee for households will be 19 ALL/m3 of water from 18 which is currently, for businesses 29 ALL and for institutions 25 ALL, while earlier for the latter two it was 27 ALL and 22 ALL.
For Kurbin, Rubik and Rrëshen, the approved rates are 15 lek m3 for families and 25 lek for businesses and institutions.
Earlier ERRU approved another decision that revised the price for Vlora and where families from February pay 33 percent more than before. /Monitor
