Seladin Xhezairi, an analyst from Skopje, stated that Blinken's visit to Tirana comes at a key moment for the region.

Xezairi says that messages for action are expected from Blinken's visit, after the recent developments in the region.
"In my judgment, given the context in which this visit takes place, the war in Ukraine and the fragile peace in the region due to Russian influence, I see Blinken's visit as important. As in the case of the American secretary of state in the 1991s. I place these visits in the context of regional developments. As you said, it is eagerly awaited what the messages of the American secretary will be.
