The Director General of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, has reacted to the murder of police officer Novruz Cenalia in Fier.
Through a press release, Rrumbullaku stated that the police will do everything to bring the perpetrator before the law. He also consoled the family of the slain officer, as he emphasized that anyone who dares to violate the police uniform will receive the harshest response.
"The State Police and I personally feel deeply shocked by the killing of police officer Novruz Cenalia, at noon on May 13, 2024. The untimely death of a young man like Novruz Cenalia has saddened us all, his family, is in tears, and the extended State Police family.For all of us, this pain becomes even more bitter when a State Police officer's life is cut short by a murderer who is still at large.
I pledge on behalf of the State Police that. we will do everything to bring the author of Novruz Cenalia's murder to justice. He expresses his conviction that the entire public opinion is today on the side of the Cenalia family and the State Police and will help to catch the perpetrator of the crime. I strongly emphasized, even a few days ago, during the memorial ceremonies for the fallen policemen, that the uniform of the State Police is sacred. Anyone who dares to violate the police uniform, the health and life of its employees, will receive the harshest legal response ," Rrumbullak's reaction says.
