Journalist Artan Hoxha has given new details about the sniper execution of Gëzim Sinomat in Vlora.
Invited to a show, Hoxha has shown that the real target of the assassination could be the uncle of the 22-year-old.
According to Hoxha, the victim's uncle Benardi has been present in Vlora for the last two months, and this has alerted the other party. He said that the house belonged to the two brothers and that two years ago the family vehicle, driven by their mother, was blown up.
"They took the life of a young man who had come from Belgium 4 days before the incident, to his father's family. His father is in prison, his mother is out of Albania and has started a new family.
It came after the holidays and the position where the event took place, the manner, etc., there are elements that the author, not being a Vlonian, did not know the victim and had his uncle as his target.
From the data available so far, the uncle of the victim Benardi has been present in Vlora for the last two months, and this has alerted the other party. It was the home of both brothers. Two years ago, the family vehicle, driven by their mother, was blown up.
It is a three-story building, explosives were placed in the car, to reactivate the investigations, but the perpetrators were not found. That event was remembered now. It was not an assassination, but it was a threat.
