The former Minister of Culture, Aldo Bumçi spoke about the creation of the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation.
He said that yesterday's decision by Prime Minister Edi Rama is a matter of luxury, as he added that an authoritarian regime has been established in Albania, where the justice system has failed.
He further said that there are no ministers, but a sultanate (referring to Prime Minister Edi Rama), who appoints directors and removes them whenever he wants.
"I believe that this topic is a luxury, since an authoritarian regime has been established in a country. The justice system has fallen, it is a captured or collapsing system. The largest opposition party has its name in the courts and the elections have been lost. In this reality, discussing this is a luxury, it is not an issue at all in this Albania, where people do not have the opportunity to take control of their destiny, their economy.
For the first time, we have entered the 11th year of Rama's government, where there are no ministers, but a prime minister and directors. Finances are the backbone of government all over the world, there are no ministers here, but a sultanate that appoints directors and removes them when it wants. Secondly, the merging of ministries with other ministries, of health and social welfare, is a big mistake. Why? We are dealing with a very weak administration, which has been damaged more with Rama's governance," said Bumçi to News24.
