The lack of infrastructure has once again forced the residents of the villages of Zall-Herr, Pinar, Priskë e Vogël and Herraj to protest by blocking the road.
The residents of Zall Herri have blocked with stones the road where trucks with inert, but also other vehicles pass.
"In May, the MP was campaigning here, and he doesn't speak. Our unit comes to collect the money on Mondays because they do not come to work on other days. We will stay here until the problem is solved. People live here. We want water and roads, two basic issues. They said it gets cloudy with rain, but today, since there is no rain, why is the water cloudy? Trucks are creating all this problem. There was no reaction. Only the deputy of the area came, we had a meeting," said one of the protesters.
Meanwhile, an elderly woman added that:
"We call on Xhemal Qefalia, the deputy, to come here and give an account, or leave the mandate. Those in their house, they got water from here and they have, while I don't have a drop of water. We gave the vote to Veliaj by helping us, but not to Edi Rama and Qefalija, so they can do whatever they want. Help us!".
This is not the first time that the residents of this administrative unit protest, due to the lack of infrastructure and drinking water.
