While commenting on the new draft of the Criminal Code, lawyer Ylli Manjani was struck by the fact that Prime Minister Rama has not spoken. According to him, he is deliberately remaining silent and is doing well.
According to him, Rama is seeing how much this Code is being embraced by society.
On the other hand, Manjani said that the Attorney General was right in today's statement.
" I mean, we can get as ridiculous as we want, what this project lacks is the logical proportional axis and political thinking. And you see, the Prime Minister of the country is not talking and I think he has taken the right approach. We agreed that there may be problems, but he is not stupid as long as he is there. I think the approach is right, I think he is doing it to see how ready society is and the interest groups are. This project needs a new Code of Criminal Procedure and the Prosecutor General is right here ," said Manjani.
