The two opinion leaders Fitim Zekthi and Fatos Lubonja clashed at the start of the discussion on the removal of the immunity of the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha today by the Assembly.
While stating that court decisions are not discussed, but are implemented referring to Berisha, Zekthi turned to Lubonja, asking him if there is something to laugh about.
The analyst turned to him saying "yes there is, why not", while Zekthi addressed him saying "I am speaking, then take your word".
In an interview for "Open", Zekthi added that his action was unacceptable and that he should not make the discussion personal.
Excerpts from the debate:
Zekthi: Everyone can have their own opinions about justice decisions, but I can say one thing. Even if it is a decision with a legal problem on the part of SPAK, the decisions of the court are not discussed, but implemented. Now that the moment comes when a man with power comes before justice, they refuse to be investigated in any way. Does Lubonja have anything to laugh about?
Lubonja : Yes, there is, why not
Zekthi: It's me talking. Then take your word.
Lubonja: Did you ask me?
Zekthi: I asked you because you shouldn't laugh when I speak. It is unacceptable. Don't make it personal. You don't know how to argue, when you don't like the other's argument you sneer and laugh.
