Criminalistics expert, Ervin Karamuço, commented on the election of Joni Keta as head of the BKH, which was voted on this Tuesday by the High Prosecutorial Council unanimously, with 11 votes in favor and none against.
Karamuço said that Joni Keta is an "American investment" because he was trained from his early days at BKH by American partners and has gained international credibility. According to Karamuço, the voting process at the KLP was largely formal, as Keta met all the professional criteria and had the necessary experience to take over the leadership of BKH.
He stated that Keta's preparation, solid training and his skills in communicating with foreign partners make him a suitable choice for this position. According to him, the fact that Keta was trained by the Americans and has participated in numerous specialized programs gives him a clear advantage in leading a sensitive structure like BKH.
"The main thing is that this was a formal process. Joni Keta, it's great that he was elected, he's a smart and experienced guy. He knows English, he knows how to talk to internationals, because this is also relevant. Do you know what the first question the Americans ask when they go there? Who among them knows English? In some institutions, it should be mandatory to have at least English to communicate with partners. Keta has experience, he worked in the Serious Crimes Unit, he has gradually grown. Of course, the family tradition with his father, a prosecutor, makes him follow a good model that he has shown. He is correct, he is not aggressive or repressive. He was trained since the beginning of the BKH by the Americans, I told you there are costs and training by taking them to America, etc., etc. He has had many of these training experiences. He has credibility with the Americans and Europeans and with partner institutions such as those of Belgium, Italy, etc. The Americans are also continuing to supervise the process for selecting the new head of SPAK ," he said Karamuço on the "Now" show.
