Joni Keta at the head of BKH, warns Karamuço: Expect strong developments

Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço has warned of developments by SPAK and BKH in the coming days.

While commenting on a show about Joni Keta's appointment as head of the Investigation Bureau, he stated that there are many files in the prosecution body and that there may be developments after its officialization.

" Developments are expected, I can say from tomorrow. From tomorrow and onwards there will be developments from SPAK and BKH ," he said.

Keta held the position of deputy director of the Bureau and was proposed as director, after a process that lasted several weeks, in which 13 candidates initially participated and then 7 candidates remained in the final phase.

At this stage, the following candidates remained in the race: Andi Pogaçe, Artur Beu, Elton Kërluku, Gentian Ndoi, Gentjan Shehaj, Gledis Nano and Joni Keta.

The KLP meeting was monitored by representatives of the US Embassy and the EU, who are considered the main partners of SPAK and BKH.

Joni Keta, from the moment Aida Hajnaj's mandate as head of the BKH ended (August 31), was appointed as head of the structure.

Keta served as a Judicial Police Officer in the Serious Crimes Prosecution Office. After the merger of this prosecution and the assumption of powers by the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK), Joni Keta competed to join the ranks of the National Bureau of Investigation.
