For the smooth conduct of the May 11 elections, 6,500 police forces will be engaged, who are being trained by the Central Election Commission for the role they will have in the process.

According to the Director of Public Order at the State Police, training has started since February throughout the country, while the main function of the police is to guard voting centers, escort electoral materials, both in their distribution near voting centers, and then in their escort to the CEAZs, where the votes are counted.

The focus will be on electoral crimes and the police, in cooperation with SPAK, will work to prevent them.

" Special attention will be paid to combating electoral crimes. Together with the General Prosecutor's Office, we conducted a training with the leaders of central and local structures. Cooperation with SPAK and the General Prosecutor's Office will be uninterrupted, mainly on the day of the electoral process ," said Agron Çela, reports Vizion+.

The preparation of the state police for the parliamentary elections has been divided into three phases: On the 10th, the election campaign phase will begin, where the state police will assume all obligations, will perform services in all activities that political entities will carry out, and we guarantee impartiality for all electoral entities.
