The Regulatory Commission has certified today the results of the partial mayoral elections, held on November 9, 2025.
After the end of the appeal deadlines, the Regulator announced the final results of the local by-elections for mayors in the municipalities of Vlora, Berat, Cërrik, Mat and Tepelena.
The State Election Commissioner on November 17 granted the mandate to the Mayor of Vlora, Brunilda Mersini, proposed by the electoral entity "Socialist Party of Albania"; to the Mayor of Berat, Ervin Ceca, proposed by the electoral entity "Socialist Party of Albania"; to the Mayor of Cërrik, Florenc Doka, proposed by the electoral entity "Socialist Party of Albania"; to the Mayor of Mat, Altin Bojni, proposed by the electoral entity "Socialist Party of Albania"; to the Mayor of Tepelenë, Gramos Sako, proposed by the electoral entity "Socialist Party of Albania".

Vlora Municipality
Brunilda Mersini, candidate from the Socialist Party – 15672 votes (Winner)
Dionis Sota, candidate proposed by voters – 2333 votes
Gjergji Nika, Candidate proposed by voters - 1975 votes
Berat Municipality
Ervi Ceca, SP candidate – 13,050 votes
Pavlo Shkarpa, candidate proposed by voters – 2607 votes
Municipality of Cerrik
Eligert Hima, candidate of the Albania Becomes Movement – 1275 votes
Amarildo Hoxha, candidate proposed by voters – 1888 votes
Florenc Doka, SP candidate – 6201 votes
Municipality of Mat
Altin Bojni, SP candidate – 7425 votes
Eduart Brahilika, the candidate proposed by the voters – 3184 votes
Suzana Pasha, candidate proposed by voters – 549 votes
Tepelena Municipality
Gabriel Guma, candidate proposed by voters - 928 votes
Gramos Sako, SP candidate – 3261 votes
