What should Finance Minister Petrit Malaj do to be reconfirmed as minister on

Petrit Malaj's stay in Rama's fourth cabinet does not depend on public finances, but on the willingness to sign 95 million euros of new deals...

The fate of the ministers in the new cabinet does not depend on vision or skills, but on their willingness to serve in Edi Rama's new bargains.

One of them is Petrit Malaj, the Minister of Finance, who has four agreements on the table that he must sign before September 11, the date when the new government is announced.

Confidential sources within the ministry say that Edi Rama has left Malaj the task of sealing 95 million euros of unplanned funds in the 2025 budget. Without this signature, Malaj no longer remains in office.

Four bargains on the table:

· 20 million euros for the Arbri Road; fictitious addition with the usual justification of "geological difficulties", in favor of "Gjoka Konstruksion".

· 25 million euros for Qukës–Qafë Plloçë; a road with a seven-fold increase in cost, requiring additional funds despite failed promises about deadlines.

· 40 million euros for waterworks; a project of the National Water Operator, with figures that exceed any budget planning, on already inflated funds and foreign loans.

· 10 million euros for the concession of medical laboratories; additional for Yannis Karathanos, who since 2019 has held a contract of 130 million euros for 10 years, requesting additional funds for "removing the restriction on analyses".

Malaj's stance does not depend on public finances, but on the willingness to accept Babloku's ultimatum: sign or leave the country!/ Pamphlet
