The scandal of this tender, with the object: "Cards, reagents, other accessories for the Immuno-Hematology Laboratory and Blood Banks in Tirana and putting the equipment into use", lies in the fact that this is a fictitious tender to steal millions together with the thief Janis Karathano.
Because the National Blood Transfusion Center has been completed with reagents for 5 years, with new cards and equipment and was put into operation on January 31, 2024, while on February 2, 2024 Prime Minister Edi Rama went and inaugurated it together with Minister Albana Koçiu. who symbolically donated blood in front of the cameras.
The second tender worth 380,000 Euros with VAT was given to the company "Pegasus Sh.pk" of the mobster Janis Karathano, by one of the heads of the institutions subordinate to the Minister of Agriculture, Anila Denaj, even by her order.
This tender with the object: "Service, repair, calibration service for Agilent devices (analysis) was signed by the Director of the Institute of Food Safety and Veterinary Medicine, Armand Raveli, who developed the tender with two contestants, but gave it to Janis Karathanos with offer 15% higher.
The scandal in this tender also lies in the fact that it is a fictitious service, according to the Institute of Food Safety and Veterinary Medicine, it is carried out by a structure of specialists who are part of this institution, but there is also the Ministry of Agriculture, which performs the service of repairing and calibrating devices .
