But Alabbari, apart from paving a small area only for two buildings without opening the foundations, has no sign of the construction of "Dubai" buildings in Durrës, although he has taken 30-40% of the value from the buyers in advance.
They believed the deception of Muhamed Alabbar, even Prime Minister Edi Rama and Minister Belinda Balluku, who played the role of advertiser, realtor, instigator of seducing citizens, calling them to buy apartments and commercial units in the air.
According to the deadline stated in the deed-agreement with the Albanian government, the "Eagle Hills Real Estate Development" company of Alabbar, out of 14,000 apartments and business units in total, would build 2,800 within the year 2023; ie, 20% of the entire project and the rest during the 9 years of the contract.
But Alabbar has not built any apartments, although on December 15, 2022 on "Report TV", he stated that the machines had been delivered and in January 2023 the construction of the buildings would begin, and he even promised that within 6 months the first residential block with 1300 apartments with sea view.
But the works did not start, while on January 30, 2023, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Mohamed Alabbar signed the contract, after which Prime Minister Edi Rama said: - Those who have bought and want to buy apartments and commercial units, will not be able to distinguish whether they are in Durrës or in Dubai.
Thousands of citizens, most of them living outside Albania, flocked to the sales office that Alabbar opened at the entrance to the Durrës Sea Port, where they handed over millions and received a piece of paper called "Pre-purchase contract", but they are not getting the apartments, because it has not started yet. their construction.
After 1 year of disappearance and after the official news that Alabbar has given up on the Durrës project, but also after the alarm of the residents for fraud and theft, Mohamed Alabbarr from Dubai appeared on January 4, 2024 on TV-Klan of the builder Aleksandër Frangaj, where with a stick on a model, he said that the construction of the buildings will start immediately.
But the buyers who do not see the apartments being built, have started to turn to the Anti-Economic-Financial Crime of the Court in Durrës, because they have learned that the Arab Mohamed Alabbar in a turban dress as if he is Sheik, the same fraud and with the same project , has done in Serbia and tried to do it in Montenegro and Croatia.
