One person has died after a missile hit a civilian vehicle in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, according to local authorities.
The Abu Dhabi Media Office announced on Platform X that the rocket hit a vehicle in the Al Bahyah area. The victim has been identified as a Palestinian national.
Authorities have not yet clarified whether the missile was intercepted by air defense systems or whether it managed to directly hit its target.
Earlier in the morning, Abu Dhabi Police had announced that air defense systems were responding to a missile threat and had urged residents to stay in safe places.
