
An explosion near Turkey's parliament in Ankara was a terrorist attack that injured two policemen, the interior minister said.
The Turkish Interior Minister said that two policemen were injured as a result of the explosion.
Minister Ali Yerlikaya said that one of the perpetrators lost his life in the explosion, while the other terrorist was neutralized by the security forces.
It is learned that a number of Turkish ministries are located in the area where the incident took place.

The attack happened on the day when the new parliamentary session starts in Turkey and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was going to address the lawmakers with his speech. So, after the explosion, security measures have been strengthened around the parliament building and the building of the Ministry of Interior.
