Missiles, retaliation and civilian casualties, the region faces a deep crisis...
The military clash between the US, Israel and Iran is bringing an increasingly heavy toll of casualties in several countries in the region, while air, missile and naval operations continue for the third consecutive day.
The Pentagon confirmed that three American service members were killed and five others were seriously injured during operations against Iranian targets. Several other service members suffered minor injuries from shrapnel and concussion but have returned to duty. These are the first confirmed American casualties since the start of the latest military campaign.
In Israel, authorities report nine people killed in Iranian strikes, including in the city of Beit Shemesh. At least 40 others were injured, while air defense systems intercepted successive waves of missiles and drones.
In the United Arab Emirates, authorities confirmed three deaths and 58 injuries as a result of Iranian attacks and intercepted missile debris. Airports in Dubai and Abu Dhabi suffered damage, causing the temporary suspension of flights and stranding thousands of travelers.
In Qatar, explosions were reported near areas where US military bases are located. Local authorities have confirmed material damage, while the full toll of casualties remains unclear.
As for Iran, state media reported that the death toll from the US-Israeli attacks is much higher. According to Iranian authorities, dozens of military officials have been killed, while a strike on a school in the city of Minab reportedly killed nearly 150 people, including more than 100 children. These figures have not been independently verified.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said that 48 leaders of the Islamic Republic were killed during the joint operation. "48 leaders were killed in one strike and things are moving very quickly," he said in an interview with Fox News, describing the operation as a major military success.
The overall toll remains rising, with confirmed casualties in several countries in the region and a high risk of further spread of the conflict throughout the Middle East. / Pamphlet
