The European Union is shocked and appalled by reports of a terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Peter Stano, the EU's chief foreign affairs spokesman, said in a post on the X social network.
" The EU condemns any attack against civilians. Our thoughts are with all those Russian citizens affected ," Stano said.
According to preliminary data, 40 people were killed and more than 100 were injured as a result of the mass shooting in Crocus Municipality in the Moscow region, the Federal Security Service of Russia reported.
