
The US Senate Foreign Relations Committee has scheduled hearings with the 3 names nominated by President Donald Trump as US Ambassadors to various countries.
Hearings with the 3 proposed candidates are scheduled for the April 8 session of the Foreign Affairs Committee. These are Brian Burch, for the position of US Ambassador to the Holy See, Brandon Judd, to be ambassador to the Republic of Chile, and Nicole McGraw, to be ambassador to the Republic of Croatia.

Previously, the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee also held hearings with David Perdue, nominated as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the People's Republic of China, and Matthew George Whitaker, as Permanent Representative of the United States to the Council of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, with the rank and status of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
Meanwhile, there are still no nominations for Albania and Kosovo from President Donald Trump. Both US diplomatic missions in Tirana and Pristina are headed by Chargé d'Affaires. Nancy VanHorn has been appointed as Deputy Chief of Mission and Chargé d'Affaires at the US Embassy in Tirana in August 2024.
