US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between India and Pakistan on Saturday.

In a message on the Truth Social platform, he said that after a long night of talks brokered by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a complete and immediate cessation of hostilities.

"Congratulations to both countries for using common sense and extraordinary intelligence. Thank you for your attention to this matter," Trump wrote.
