The Assembly voted today on the President's decrees regarding the dismissal and appointment of ministers, within the framework of the government changes that were decided by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The electronic vote regarding the dismissal of Elisa Spiropali as Foreign Minister caused confusion after it turned out that Sali Berisha and Jozefina Topalli had also voted.
Berisha was at the Parliament podium, which means that someone else pressed the vote button. Meanwhile, Jozefina Topalli explained that in her case there was a technical error.
" During the chaos in Parliament, when the opposition was not being given the floor, I mistakenly pressed two buttons on the system to take the floor. This coincided with the moment of the vote to dismiss a minister."
"It is a technical slip and not an expression of my political will. I also clarify that at that moment Mr. Berisha was on the podium and did not vote ," Topalli said.
